Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced
EPR Solutions and Integration Architect to join a dynamic NHS team. This role is critical in designing, implementing, and integrating Electronic Patient Record (EPR) systems to enhance patient care and streamline clinical workflows. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with EPR systems, particularly
Meditech or multi-vendor environments, and a proven track record of delivering complex integration solutions within healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design and architecture of EPR solutions, ensuring alignment with NHS standards and clinical requirements.
- Develop and implement integration strategies to connect EPR systems with other healthcare applications and platforms.
- Collaborate with clinical teams, IT stakeholders, and third-party vendors to deliver seamless system integration.
- Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving EPR system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including architectural designs, integration plans, and system configurations.
- Ensure compliance with NHS data security and governance policies, including GDPR and IG Toolkit requirements.
- Support the testing, deployment, and optimisation of EPR systems, ensuring they meet user needs and performance standards.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in healthcare IT to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Person Specification:- Proven experience as an EPR Solutions Architect, with expertise in Meditech or multi-vendor EPR systems.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare IT standards, interoperability frameworks (e.g., HL7, FHIR), and integration tools.
- Rhapsofy integration experience highly desired.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Experience working within the NHS or similar healthcare environments is highly desirable.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
