Job Title: Cyber Security Manager
Day Rate: £600 per day (Outside IR35)

Cyber Security Manager to enhance their security posture and safeguard critical business operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and mitigate cybersecurity risks, ensuring robust protection against security threats.
- Assess and enhance the firm's cybersecurity framework, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Implement and manage M365 Security solutions (Sentinel, Defender, Conditional Access) and Azure security protocols.
- Collaborate with key internal teams, including IT, risk, and compliance, to develop and enforce strong cybersecurity policies and best practices.
- Offer both strategic insight and practical solutions to proactively detect, address, and prevent cybersecurity threats. Lead incident response efforts, conducting investigations and ensuring swift resolution of security breaches.
- Develop and implement security awareness training programs to educate employees on best practices and emerging threats.
Key Requirements / Skills:- Strong experience in M365 Security, including Sentinel, Defender, and Conditional Access.
- In-depth knowledge of security protocols such as TCP/IP, SSL, VPN, and encryption.
- Hands-on experience with Azure and cloud security—this is a technical, not just an oversight role.
- Proven ability to manage cybersecurity incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage across multiple departments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exposure to regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to insurance (e.g., FCA, GDPR, ISO 27001).
Nice to Have:- Experience in the insurance or financial services sector, understanding industry-specific risks.
