Mech Tech are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to support and optimise IT systems within the renewable energy sector. This contract role, operating outside IR35, offers a competitive day rate of £870 and provides the flexibility of remote work from within the UK. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, maintaining, and improving infrastructure that supports innovative renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage IT infrastructure to support renewable energy operations.
• System Optimization: Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of IT systems to meet operational demands.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to align IT strategies with business objectives.
• Security Measures: Implement best practices for cybersecurity and compliance with industry standards.
• Upgrades & Maintenance: Oversee system updates, patches, and hardware/software upgrades with minimal disruption

Required Skills & Experience
