Contract Description

Our sister company Stellarmann is looking for a contract Snowflake Developer. Stellarmann builds teams of associates to deliver technology and change programmes, in this case for an insurance end-client.

You will join a specialised team to support the creation of a new data function that will enhance efficiency across multiple insurance lines. A big part of this role involves building a data warehouse with multiple data feeds, aiming to deliver a robust solution within a set timeframe. You'll leverage Snowflake to drive the project's success, ensuring seamless data integration and optimisation.

You'll be great for this role if you:

  • Are an experienced Snowflake Developer with excellent data development and software programming skills, ideally with a background in insurance.
  • Possess excellent SQL proficiency, are comfortable with data build tool skills (DBT), and have Power BI experience.
  • Have a background in solution integration and previous experience building similar systems.
  • Are skilled at conducting workshops, managing senior stakeholders, and gathering business requirements effectively.

This is an initial 10-month contract, paying between £640 and £700 per day outside IR35, depending on experience and skill level. The position offers hybrid working (3 days per week in the client's City based office, with potential to reduce to 2 days).
