9-12 month position £600+ per day outside of IR35
My client is about to embark on a Data Transformation program migrating to the cloud and as such needs a change manager with strong technical data understanding.
Key Responsibilities
- Change Management Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive change management plan tailored to the data transformation project, aligned with the client’s goals and timelines.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Identify, analyze, and engage key stakeholders at all levels to ensure buy-in and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Impact Analysis: Assess organisational impacts, including process, people, and technology changes, and define strategies to address challenges.
- Communication Plan: Design and implement effective communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed and engaged, ensuring transparency throughout the transition.
- Training and Development: Collaborate with training teams to identify skill gaps and develop training materials to prepare employees for new cloud-based workflows.
- Resistance Management: Identify potential resistance to change and create mitigation strategies to foster adoption and minimise disruption.
- Performance Metrics: Define and track success metrics (e.g., user adoption rates, engagement levels) to evaluate change management effectiveness and continuously refine strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with technical, project management, and business teams to ensure alignment between change management activities and project milestones.
- Risk Management: Anticipate, identify, and address change-related risks, providing proactive solutions to maintain momentum.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience as a Change Manager, within data transformation, cloud migration, or large-scale IT projects.
- Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies (e.g., PROSCI, ADKAR), and tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working with technical and non-technical teams.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data transformation concepts is essential.
- Certification in change management (e.g., PROSCI Change Management Certification) or project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus
