PKI Architect - 6 months - Hybrid

My client is seeking a highly skilled PKI Architect with enhanced DV clearance to join their team. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions to support secure communications and identity management across complex environments.

Contract Details:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 6 months
• Rate: £650 - £750 per day
• Determination: Outside IR35
• Location: On-site 4 days per week in Farnborough
• Security Clearance: Enhanced DV Clearance

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement PKI solutions in line with organizational security policies and compliance standards.
• Develop and document PKI architecture and governance frameworks.
• Oversee certificate lifecycle management, including issuance, renewal, and revocation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure secure integration of PKI into existing and new systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to protect cryptographic assets.
• Provide technical guidance on encryption, digital signature, and key management best practices.

Requirements:

• Enhanced DV clearance is mandatory.
• Proven experience in PKI architecture and implementation.
• Expertise in cryptographic standards, protocols, and technologies (eg, X.509, SSL/TLS, RSA, ECC).
• Strong knowledge of certificate management tools and platforms.
• Experience with integrating PKI into applications, operating systems, and network infrastructures.
