Data Engineer - Data Warehousing - 6 month contract - outside IR35 - Edinburgh

Are you a skilled Data Engineer with a passion for designing and implementing cutting-edge data solutions? Our client is looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to help build a new Data Warehouse that will drive Business Intelligence, analytics and decision-making.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing data solutions within complex environments, ideally in AWS Cloud environments.
• Strong skills in SQL and a deep understanding of data transformation and analysis.
• Hands-on expertise in building ETL pipelines and integrating data from diverse sources.
• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and experience using relevant tooling such as Docker, Gitlab, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CDK & CloudFormation, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, maintainable software in a collaborative, cross-functional team.
• Experience working with Agile delivery models, such as Scrum or Kanban and/or Agile TDD environments
• Knowledge of Datawarehousing principles would be preferred
• Experience of AWS Glue, Step Functions, Lambda functions, S3, RDS, Data Migration Service, Openshift, PostgreSQL etc. would also be beneficial.
