Business Data Architect
Location: Hybrid (occasional visits to their Warrington office however no set days)
Contract: Outside IR35
Pay rate: Up to £600 per day
Duration 6 months
Start date: January 2025
Required: Ability to obtain BPSS level security clearance (this includes but is not limited to identity, employment and criminal record checks).

They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Professional lead the data discovery project which sits with their business communities. The whole isn’t technical as the key focus is to discover what data they have & why do they need it.
As a Business Data Architect, you will play a key role in establishing the data management strategy, ensuring data integrity, and optimizing data flow across various systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust, scalable, and efficient data solutions that align with business objectives, ensuring that their data architecture supports the future growth and needs of the organisation.
Key Skills:
• Design and Develop Data Architecture:
o Design and implement data models, data pipelines, and database structures to support business requirements.
o Establish data flow and integration processes across internal and external data sources.
o Develop data standards, principles, and guidelines for data management across the organization.
• Data Strategy and Roadmap:
o Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to define the data architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
o Develop a scalable data architecture roadmap that evolves with the company’s needs, focusing on future growth, emerging technologies, and performance optimization.
• Data Governance and Security:
o Ensure data is accurate, consistent, and secure by developing and enforcing data governance policies, including data classification, ownership, privacy, and retention.
o Work closely with cybersecurity teams to define and implement security standards, including data encryption, authentication, and compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
o Work closely with project managers to ensure data solutions are delivered on time and meet business needs.
