We are working with a greentech company, who are looking for a Senior Front End Developer with expertise in Next.js, React.js, and TypeScript to join their team on a 12 month contract. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing user interfaces for their flagship product, ensuring they are responsive, scalable, and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using Next.js, React.js, and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, Back End developers, and product managers, to implement features that enhance user experience.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and advocate for best practices in Front End development.
• Debug and resolve performance issues and bugs.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to contribute innovative ideas.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in Next.js, React.js, and TypeScript, with a strong portfolio of projects demonstrating expertise.
• Solid understanding of modern web development practices, including component-based architecture, state management (eg, Redux, Context API), and responsive design principles.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Familiarity with consuming RESTful APIs and working in agile development environments.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools (eg, Jest, Cypress) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Bonus Experience

• Previous experience working on design systems, ensuring consistent, reusable components across products.
• Hands-on experience with B2C platforms, particularly in high-traffic, consumer-facing applications.
