Engineering Manager (CRM) | Salesforce | Outside IR35
Length: 6-months initially
Location: Remote (UK-based) with occasional travel to London
Day Rate: £DoE - Outside IR35
Rate: Competitive day rate (TBC)
We are recruiting for a well-known client undergoing a major transformation. They seek an experienced Engineering Manager (CRM) to lead the Salesforce migration as part of a large-scale transformation programme.
Role Overview:
- Lead and support a team of 8 during the migration.
- Represent Engineering in key discussions with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Provide leadership and technical guidance, ensuring successful delivery while maintaining operational stability.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Leadership: Proven track record of line managing, leading, and motivating technical development teams (6-8+ direct reports) across multiple disciplines.
- Transformation Experience: Ideally, you will have navigated teams through periods of transformation and ambiguity (desirable but not essential).
- CRM Knowledge: Some knowledge of CRM platforms in hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud/SaaS).
- Experience with Salesforce (Sales Cloud and Service Cloud) or Siebel is advantageous.
- Enterprise Platforms: Experience managing the development and operation of enterprise-grade platforms.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to influence, challenge, and engage both internal and external stakeholders from a leadership and strategic perspective.
- Technical Expertise: Understanding of engineering best practices and DevOps culture, tools, and processes.
