Our Client:

Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is seeking an experienced Interim Functional Consultant with specialised expertise in Temenos SaaS. This is a critical, high-impact role designed to lead a seamless deployment of Temenos solutions, maximising system efficiency and aligning with regulatory standards. The consultant will play a pivotal role in guiding the organisation through end-to-end implementation, training, and ongoing solution optimisation.


Role Overview

As an Interim Functional Consultant, you’ll leverage your in-depth knowledge of Temenos products to drive the adoption and configuration of the client’s SaaS solution, ensuring it meets both business and regulatory requirements. You’ll act as the crucial liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, managing requirements gathering, solution design, and implementation. This role is ideal for a seasoned consultant comfortable with high levels of autonomy and accountability in a fast-paced financial services environment.


  • Business Needs Assessment: Collaborate with client stakeholders to perform a detailed needs assessment, gathering and documenting functional requirements.
  • Solution Configuration: Translate business requirements into functional specifications and oversee the configuration of Temenos modules to meet client-specific needs.
  • Implementation & Integration: Lead the deployment of Temenos SaaS, ensuring seamless integration with the client’s existing systems and infrastructure.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct and manage comprehensive testing processes, identifying and resolving any discrepancies to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Training & Knowledge Transfer: Develop and deliver user training sessions, empowering the client’s internal teams to effectively utilize the new system.
  • Post-Implementation Support: Provide expert troubleshooting and support, addressing any issues promptly and identifying opportunities for further system enhancement and efficiency.


Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven Expertise: Minimum of 5+ years of consulting experience with Temenos solutions, ideally with hands-on implementation and configuration within a financial services context.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to assess client needs, translate them into technical requirements, and develop functional specifications.
  • Technical Knowledge: Extensive understanding of Temenos SaaS, particularly within the scope of regulatory compliance and data integration.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and alignment.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to troubleshooting and optimising system performance for a secure and efficient deployment.
