Programme Delivery Manager (12-18 month contract) - Outside IR35 - £550 per day

The role:

We are seeking an experienced Programme Delivery Manager to oversee the successful delivery of complex projects and programmes within our organisation. As a Programme Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing multi-million-pound projects, driving business process transformation through technology, and ensuring the successful implementation of enterprise solutions.


  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale programmes, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, and stakeholder communications to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable project plans and deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with project management best practices, methodologies, and standards.
  • Experience delivering SAAS implementations is highly desirable.


  • Proven experience managing £15-20 million plus projects, preferably in a technology or consulting environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Experience leading build projects and delivering enterprise solutions into business functions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to drive change and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable but not essential.
